MANILA, Philippines — Only less than one percent of the 222,000 strong Philippine National Police remains unvaccinated against COVID-19, the national police said Sunday.ADVERTISEMENT Meanwhile, 865 or 0.38 percent of police personnel remain unvaccinated due to various valid reasons including having allergic reactions to the vaccines and other medical conditions, the PNP said.

In a statement, PNP chief General Dionardo Carlos said the organization is seeing a slow “narrowing of the gap” between those vaccinated and those who are not.
