Leni urges physical distancing as people troop to Manila Bay beachfront

Speaking in her weekly radio show “BISErbisyong Leni” Sunday, Robredo noted that physical distancing was not observed when it was temporarily opened for public viewing this weekend.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment led the event to mark the annual International Coastal Clean-upPhotos of the throng waiting in line caught the attention of netizens, including Robredo, after they noticed that most of the visitors were not practicing physical distancing.

Artificial beaches are attractions for countries who don't have them. For Philippines which is an archipelago have may beaches and people are use to see them everywhere. The development of Manila Bay beach makes people look like they have never seen beaches before.

Although she’s right, I don’t recall her saying the same thing when people were going out for rallies and demonstrations. And this double-standard is what turns people off.
