In an advisory, Legazpi City Mayor Noel Rosal said the order is part of the City Inter-Agency Task Force’s preemptive action, considering the surge of confirmed infections in the city.

LEGAZPI CITY – This city, along with five municipalities in Albay province, announced on their respective social media accounts on Monday the suspension of classes from January 17-28 due to rising number of active coronavirus disease 2019 cases.
