Despite the laws the Senate has passed to protect overseas Filipino workers , they still are not felt by our countrymen because of an utter lack of implementation, presidential aspirant Senator Panfilo M. Lacson said today.
“Madaling gumawa ng batas pero ang problema pagka sa execution doon nagkakaloko-loko e ,” added the three-term senator, who mentioned the other laws he helped formulate for the benefit of other sectors in the country. ‘’The thinking that we need to go to other countries to earn a living should end. Our livelihoods should be here in our country, they should be earning here as much as possible,’’ he pointed out.
