Kris shared Wednesday a photo of her with sister Ballsy and their parents former senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino and former President Corazon Aquino.The photo was taken a few months before the late senator’s assassination in August 1983, Kris said.
“Dad knew how to make people feel special & important. Mom knew how to make us feel protected & encouraged us to be the best versions of ourselves… God blessed me way more than i deserved with the parents who gave me life, and the sons na ngayon naman, ako na ang nagpapalaki,” Kris added.Kris recalled how his father always believed she would someday become an actress.
She continued, “Ang mom pagsasabihan pa sya, ‘dad, don’t get her hopes up.’ But HE would whisper to me ‘beautiful, you’ll be on tv and starring in movies, and signing autographs…’”In light of this, Kris hopes parents would also encourage and support their children in their dreams just like how her father did.
