MANILA, Philippines -- Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone believes that going to the G League bodes well for Filipino-American guard Jalen Green, as it will make him "very, very well-prepared" for life in the NBA.
There, he will play with other top recruits -- including 7-foot-2 Filipino center Kai Sotto -- in a select team that will get topnotch coaching and life skills training. Green's contract with the G League is reportedly worth $500,000. "But being with the G League is gonna make him even more prepared," he added.
