He and his running mate, Dr. Willie Ong, will run under the Aksyon Demokratiko party.The mayor expressed readiness to face the challenges. The former actor pledged to lead a government of 'reconstruction and national reconciliation.
I believe people should speak truth to power rather than for power to threaten the people for speaking the truth,' the mayor said.Domagoso has been a consistent frontrunner in previous surveys. His high rating was attributed to the changes he initiated in the capital city.In a survey conducted by Pulse Asia last July, the mayor was the second most popular choice to be the successor of President Rodrigo Duterte, behind Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.
