IATF OKs 30% church capacity in Metro Manila, GCQ areas

THE Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has approved the recommendation of Metro Manila mayors to increase to 30 percent the church capacity in Metro Manila.

“Pinayagan na ang religious gatherings sa mga lugar sa ilalim ng GCQ na hanggang 30 percent of the seating or venue capacity sa dating 10 percent,” Roque said during the Laging Handa public briefing on Friday.The Metro Manila Council has agreed to a 30 percent church capacity. It also agreed to reduce curfew hours in Metro Manila from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. and allowed residents aged 18 to 65 outside of their residences.

The easing of restrictions imposed due to coronavirus disease 2019 by Metro Manila mayors comes as the government moves to revive the economy amid the impact of the pandemic.Yes, I want to keep up with The Times
