MALACAÑANG released on Friday, November 15, Proclamation 845, providing the list of regular holidays and special non-working days for 2020.It declares the following as regular holidays:April 10 – Good FridayNovember 30 – Bonifacio DayJanuary 25 – Chinese New YearAugust 21 – Ninoy Aquino DayDecember 31 – Last Day of the Year next year as additional special non-working days.
The proclamations declaring national holidays for the observance of the Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha will be issued after the approximate dates of the Islamic Holidays have been determined, in accordance with the Islamic calendar or the lunar calendar, or upon Islamic astronomical calculations whichever is possible or convenient.
