Department of Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra on Thursday, August 5, warned the public against spreading misinformation on measures that would be imposed under enhanced community quarantine in the National Capital Region .
NCR will be under ECQ starting Friday, Aug. 6 until Aug. 20 in a move to to avert the spread of the Delta variant of the coronavirus disease . There was a misinformation that during the ECQ unvaccinated persons will be arrested if they are caught outside their homes even if they are authorized persons outside residence , he said.
