Guevarra said recently appointed BuCor officer-in-charge Deputy Director General Melvin Ramon Buenafe will be ordered to implement the OMB’s six-month preventive suspension against the 27 BuCor officials.
“We will confer with the OIC and find ways to continue normal operations with the least disruption,” Guevarra added. Based on the testimonies of witnesses and public documents gathered, the Office of the Ombudsman came to the conclusion that the respondents allowed the questionable releases while in the conduct of their public functions.
