Govt. may reinstate 'one person per household' rule in buying essential goods during ECQ

The government is considering limiting anew to one person per household the buying of groceries and essentials during the two-week enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila, an official of the National Task Force Against COVID-19 said Saturday.

[Translation: At the start of ECQ, only one person may be allowed to go out out of their homes to get necessities.] From August 6 to 20, the country's capital will be placed under ECQ to curb the rising coronavirus cases, and avoid a potential surge fueled by the feared Delta variant.
