Martial law declaration in the Philippines is not being discussed now, the Inter-Agency for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases says.

,” task force spokesperson Karlo Nograles said during a televised briefing after being asked if continued “lawlessness” could push the government to place the county under military rule.Nograles was made to react to President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive for law enforcers to “shoot” to death violators of the enhanced community quarantine.

Duterte’s statement came hours after some residents in Quezon City took to the streets on Monday to demand the government for food and aid, which they said they had yet to receive at that time. As a result, at least 21 of them were arrested by city police. “Importante po kay Pangulo that we maintain order especially in this time of crisis and state of calamity,” Nograles said.

There's not much difference between what you have there NOW and what it would be under martial law.

We hear you. However, letting the military have power over scientific measures with death threats involved says otherwise.

so may chance?

The way I see it, I think it's part of their plan, hayaang magutom majority of the filipino para magkagulo then so they can declare ML maybe to control media and people ang komontra at magreklamo shoot to kill nalang just like in the old days. DDS your dream come true.

if there's a chance, I think it would be better

So there is a chance? 😬
