Common areas for eating and smoking in workplaces are now banned in a move to contain the spread of COVID-19.

In a bid to contain the spread of COVID-19, the Philippine government is now prohibiting common areas for eating and smoking in workplaces like offices and factories.

The mask and shield requirement is when a worker is"confined inside a room" with another during meetings or inside the shuttles.
