Senator Bong Go refuses interpellations on his speech criticizing the government agencies’ slow distribution of benefits for virus-hit health workers

DOH officials admitted they failed to implement the distribution because of the lack of implementing rules and regulations.Senate Minority Floor Leader Franklin Drilon then asked Senate President Tito Sotto if the refusal of taking questions after privilege speeches is the “new normal” in the Upper House.

Drilon acknowledged that senators have the privilege of refusing questions from colleagues in their privilege speech, but the neophyte senator’s action is not the practice of the Senate."It is the prerogative of the senators, but indeed it was never the practice not to entertain any question every time you rise on the floor. I don't think it is, definitely not," said Sotto.

Baka kasi di nya kaya makipagdebate... Di ko nga alam kung senador sya o first lady or spokesperson....

You are a member of the legislative, yet, you are more visible in meetings of the executive department. Why not as Duque or the people from the executive department?

First lady trynna get that sweet, sweet airtime

Yan ang senador na binoto ng milyong pilipino. Either magsisi kayo or accept na talagang bobo kayo

Senator Tabogo.

Bong Go!..tanga lang ang makikinig sa privilege speech mo... piste ka!.

Ano sabi ulit? Privellege speech sa classroom law. Haha

Ang mema mo Bong Go, sagutin n'yo rin 'yung hinihingi naming breakdown sa lahat ng nagasta n'yo simula nung nagkapandemya-mula 275B hanggang ngayong patuloy n'yong pangungutang sa kung saan man. Ano, binulsa n'yo, no?

eh sinulat lang naman ng mga writers mo yang binabasa mo. try mo nga impromptu, natatakot ka lang kasi di mo kaya sumagot ng magisa ng maayos. wag kami. 😂

Typical EPAL move: laging may screen time/air time laging MEMAsasabi ilaglag ang group mates kapag tumatagilid ang barko magdrama kapag tinanong

There you go folks! I'ts Bong Go time!😂Epal

You rub elbows with Duque on a weekly basis and didn't think of asking him about this being the chair of the committee on health & demography? Maybe if you start doing your job in the first place instead of 'staying on his side' until your dying breath this would not happen.

Senator Bong Go wants to make himself popular again - forget it. He is just a self-promoter!

Despite warning, Gwen to go on with plan to allow backriding in motorcyclesCebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia on Thursday, June 4, 2020 stood by her decision to allow backriding on private motorcycles in the province. This should be an enforcement problem; to apprehend those who are not supposed to backride. This should not be the motorists’ dilemna. Laws should not just be for the convenience of the enforcers but more for the public’s necessity. Dili ipagan tanan. GovGwenGarcia. should also defy her detractors, and allow MGCQ to begin. I don't see the point in continuing with Quarantine pass that forces people to stay at home unnecessarily, it is not for their protection. The president has spoken, 'Much as I like to grant your request (especially that Cebu gave me a resounding victory in the last election), but I won't because if I do it, what will prevent me from granting the other requests? I will just be exposing myself to graft charges.'
