Dwight Ramos and Justine Baltazar both sizzle from deep as Gilas Pilipinas picks up its second straight win in the King Abdullah Cup in Jordan.

Gilas Pilipinas continued to flex its improved stroke from downtown in the King Abdullah Cup as it routed Jordan Team B, 90-63, on its home floor in Amman on Wednesday, July 28.

The all-around guard shot an elite 7-of-10 clip from downtown, all coming in the first half, on top of 6 assists, 5 steals, and 3 rebounds overall.and totaled 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from three, bringing his total clip to 7-of-8 in the last two days. Jordan’s comeback effort then all came crashing down as the opposing Jordan – Jordan Heading – fired off three straight triples that pushed Gilas to a game-sealing 23-6 run, capped by a Carl Tamayo jumper in the final minute for the 24-point gap, 74-49.

Ahmad Obeid paced the loss with 14 points and 6 rebounds on 5-of-9 shooting, while Hamati added 10 markers and 5 assists.
