MANILA — Andray Blatche will lead the Philippines when it competes in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup that starts on August 31 in China.

Blatche spearheads the 12-man line-up that also includes veterans June Mar Fajardo, Gabe Norwood, Japeth Aguilar and Paul Lee, all of whom also suited up for the Philippines in the 2014 World Cup.

Also making it to the roster is Kiefer Ravena, who finally made his highly-anticipated return to the court on Sunday in a tune-up game with the Adelaide 36ers at the Meralco Gym.All 12 players competed in their tune-up against the 36ers, which the visitors won 85-75. Failing to make the cut were Poy Erram, Matthew Wright and Marcio Lassiter, all of whom are dealing with injuries.
