MANILA- Fewer Filipinos considered themselves poor as of September, a Social Weather Stations survey released Monday showed.
SWS explained that self-rated poor statistics dipped in all areas except the Visayas, which saw a 4-point increase to 59 percent from 55 percent in June. Most families who consider themselves as poor also said that they need a P10,000 monthly budget for them not to consider themselves as poor.
