Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Chief Nicanor Faeldon said that, as far as the law was concerned, former Calauan Laguna Mayor Antonio Sanchez does not qualify to benefit from the Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA) law as it excludes those who have been convicted of committing heinous crimes.

Bureau of Corrections Chief Director General Nicanor Faeldon answers questions during a press conference at the Bureau of correction in Muntinlupa.

Faeldon also enumerated other examples why a detainee may be disqualified from availing of this provision of the law.
