Facebook Philippines Country Director John Rubio said Facebook Community Boost is a global initiative that aims to equip entrepreneurs with the tools and skills to keep up with the new mobile-first market.
“These generated about 63 of the jobs from the MSMEs and 25 percent from export revenues of their products,” he noted. DICT Undersecretary Eliseo Rio Jr., in his video message during the launching, lauded Facebook for reaching out to more Filipinos around the nation through the Facebook Community Boost.
Rubio said with Facebook Community Boost, Facebook gives people the power to build communities and bring the world closer together through FB’s core values of social impact, responsibility and innovation.
