Ayon sa pharmacy assistant na si Emie Tabara, lalong dumami ang mga naghahanap ng face mask Huwebes ng hapon, pagkatapos ianunsiyo ng Department of Health ang kauna-unahang kaso ng 2019 Novel Coronavirus sa Pilipinas. Isa si Andy Mortel sa mga nagpalipat-lipat ng botika sa Lacson Street para lang makabili ng face mask. Ang isang botika sa tapat ng Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, naglagay na ng karatula na wala nang mabibili na face mask.
Samantala, mag-iisang linggo nang walang stock na face mask sa botika sa Burgos Street. Ayon sa pharmacy assistant na si Jenesa Mendoza, kinansela na ng kanilang supplier ang lahat ng order dahil kulang talaga ng stocks.
