MANILA - Employers should shoulder the cost of coronavirus testing of their workers if virus screening is required before they could return to their jobs amid easing pandemic restrictions, the country's labor chief said Saturday.
This as several businesses have been allowed to partially operate following lockdowns due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
*checks the clock* Oh! Would you look at that. —- It’s annoying that we have to shoulder something that was (almost) completely avoidable in the first place. Wala eh, masmahalaga feelings ng China.
Naku andami pa namang DDS na employer na post ng post about how good this govt is.
Potaccang life.
hahahaha akala ko ba malaki budget, madami pera.ginawang negosyo halaka. pandemic po eto thus this concerns the entire population of the country. hndi yung selective lng ang ggawin yung testing for the virus.
The government is using limited testing only to confirm COVID-19 cases, not prevent its spread at 34% of tests nationwide OFWs included. Unless our government changes strategy & include workers, the 75-days lockdown will have been for nothing.
natural, wala ng itetest nyan. common sense.
San na ba ang 275B?
Lol na ibabawas din sa sweldo nila
No. Government should imo. Not all employers can afford it.
To Employers just strictly adopt DOH guidelines on testing ng hindi na sumakit ulo niyo.
Pay for good service yes , but not for 14d waiting agony.
Bakit?
Philhealth must shoulder the testing for employees not their employers. We are paying Philhealth for what? 👊👹
Jusko.
15 year po ha, and 30 years.
Government, not employers nor employees should pay for covid tests. 🙄
Since you said it is NOT mandatory. Now employers should shoulder mandatory ? The bayanihan act heal as one says you got to act as one. Pls get your acts together before opening your mouth as all this has been adding to confusion
