Amid threats of the Omicron variant of the COVID-19, state universities and colleges in Eastern Visayas are gearing up for face-to-face classes in the second semester.

TACLOBAN CITY – Amid threats of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus disease , state universities and colleges in Eastern Visayas are gearing up for face-to-face classes in the second semester.

He shared that as of November 25, at least 82.45 percent of higher education institutions personnel and 45.91 percent of the student population in the Philippines have been inoculated against the disease. The official stressed that retrofitting classrooms is non-negotiable aside from the observance of health protocols.
