MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte early Thursday warned landlords and lessors against evicting tenants and lessees amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has forced most workers and businessmen to stop their normal operations and leading to loss of income.
The President said COVID-19 global pandemic might continue to affect the country for two years, and by that time, no one might be around to collect anything.. The President added he will personally see to it that tenants who were evicted will get their lease back.

hindi naman talaga mapapaalis agad ang mga nangungupahan. Meron pong 2 mons deposit na naka-prenda bago pa man. Pedeng magamit ang 1 mon. deposit sa buwan na d makapagbayad
Putsa! This govt acts like we have the luxury of time! Kaya puro dribble ginagawa. A month after ng first infection umasa Lang sa donations ng test kits. 2 mos after umasa sa donations ng PPEs! 3 mos after umasa sa private sector para ibsan ang gutom ng Tao! Inutil na gobyerno!
KAyo po ang nag pa pahirap sa Tao! FU!
Aba dapat lang po.. wag na natin pahirapan pa kapwa natin. Let’s try to be a blessing to others.

Landlords doesn't have DOLE to assist them not all Landlords are wealthy they have families to feed as well, they are not exempted to property taxes for this year as well. So unless you give them some assurance or what please don't give such statement that can be subject to abuse
Kailangan po diyan IRRs. And perhaps even a law.
