MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte has signed a law declaring September 8 a special working holiday in the entire country to commemorate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The bill passed the Senate on May 20, 2019.

Back in 2017, Duterte declared December 8 as a nationwide holiday to commemorate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. - report from Arianne Merez, ABS-CBN News
