President Duterte received on Tuesday the credentials of the new ambassadors of Switzerland, Germany, Malaysia, Georgia, Estonia, and Malawi to the country in Malacañan, including an invitation to visit Malawi, a country in southeastern Africa.

KING RODRIGUEZ/PRESIDENTIAL PHOTO / MANILA BULLETIN) Duterte received the credentials of new Swiss Ambassador Alain Gaschen who, according to Malacañang, commended the President for his achievements in the Bangsamoro peace process.

German Ambassador Anke Reiffenstuel described the German-Philippine relations as “rich,” saying these cover a broad range of issues including cooperation in environment and climate-related matters, healthcare, culture and education, bilateral trade, business, and economic cooperation. Malaysian Ambassador Norman Bin Muhamad also vowed to work with the Duterte government for the development of the two countries.

Malacañang said three non-resident ambassadors also had an audience with President Duterte and presented their diplomatic credentials.
