President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the pilot testing of limited face-to-face classes in areas with low COVID-19 cases, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said.
In a Palace briefing on Monday, Roque said the pilot testing will be done in areas that will be determined by the Department of Health.Education Secretary Leonor Briones said a maximum of 100 schools will participate in the pilot test.More details to follow.
I think this would bring positive / negative impact to our education system. For the positive teachers can monitor and assess if their students are learning or not. For the negative impact it would be the higher chances of the COVID 19 virus spread to the students and teachers.
I think this move of phneducation is timely and risky. Student from public school most is no longer acquiring basic skills in learning. Parents are crying outloud to teach their child specially those having a hard time to understand different type of discipline.

Yes. And focus on elementary students. These kind of students need a great attention in studying.
