MANILA -- President Rodrigo Duterte rescheduled his visit to earthquake victims in Davao because he is not feeling well, his spokesman said Thursday.

Duterte’s condition, however, is “ordinary” for any 74-year-old, Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo said.

Instead of Thursday, Duterte moved the visit to earthquake victims in the towns of Malalag and Padada in Davao del Sur on Friday, Panelo said. "Masama lang siguro pakiramdam eh ordinary lang yon… Ano lang iyon, ordinaryong masamang pakiramdam ng isang 74 years old," Panelo told reporters. The oldest elected Philippine leader suffered muscle spasms due to motorcycle mishap late last year.

He also admitted to having myasthenia gravis, a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease as well as Buerger's disease, a cause of blockages in the blood vessels associated with smoking during his youth.
