MANILA — It lit up in solidarity with some of the worst affected countries by the coronavirus , showing the national colors of not only China, but also of Italy and Spain.

This week, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest skyscraper, once again turned on its lights —this time, to remind people to stay at home and that “we are all in this together.”

Hundreds of thousands of Filipinos live in Dubai, which is part of the United Arab Emirates. The UAE has so far reported more than 300 cases of COVID-19, with two deaths.
