The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) welcomed with gratitude the results of the 2021 Philippine Trust Index (PTI) showing that it was among the institutions most trusted by the public.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development welcomed with gratitude the results of the 2021 Philippine Trust Index showing that it was among the institutions most trusted by the public.

In a statement, the DSWD expressed gratitude to the public “for the continued trust in the delivery of social protection programs, especially the much needed aid at this time of the pandemic.” Based on this year’s PTI which was conducted by the EON Group, the DSWD got a trust rating index of 88 percent.

Aside from the DSWD, the Church, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas , Department of Education , Pag-IBIG Fund, and the Government Service Insurance System were the other institutions most trusted by the public.The DSWD said it is committed to continue upholding its brand of service delivery anchored on the core value of “mapagkalinga at maagap na serbisyo”.”
