DSWD aids 150 LSIs

In a statement, the DSWD said a P2,000 pre-departure financial assistance has been extended to around 154 LSIs during the third leg of the Hatid Tulong Grand Send-Off last Oct. 19 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, Pasay City.

The DSWD said aside from the cash assistance, it also provided Family Food Packs , sleeping kits, and hygiene kits to the LSIs. It noted that upon their arrival in their e hometowns, the LSIs are required to undergo a 14-day quarantine to ensure that they are COVID-free.
