Drivers with no traffic violations can now renew licenses for 10 years

These are all based on the provisions in Republic Act 10930, which will be first implemented by the Central Office-Licensing Section and the Quezon City Licensing Center starting Oct. 28. It will then be implemented in other municipalities in Metro Manila starting Nov. 3, while the implementation in areas outside the NCR will be announced at a later date.
