Maaalalang noong Miyerkoles ay inararo ng pampasaherong jeep ang mga estudyanteng tumatawid lang sa pedestrian lane.Sa lakas ng pagkakabangga, tumilapon ang ilang estudyante. Dinala sa ospital ang walo pero binawian ng buhay ang grade 8 student na si Jules Villapando. Sa ginawang drug test, nagpositibo ang driver ng jeep na si Crisdale Tamparong, na itinanggi niya noong una pero kalaunan ay inamin din."Isang linggo po gumagamit ako, isang beses lang po talaga. Pero nung sumunod na araw nung nangyari iyon hindi," aniya."Sa lahat ng nabiktima ko ako ay humihingi rin ng tawad sa kanila. Bilang isang magulang ako rin ay nasasaktan, di ko sinasadya," sabi ng suspek."Galit [ako] dahil nawala 'yung anak namin dahil sa kaniya.

Nitong Biyernes ay dumating ang ilang mga kaeskuwela ni Jules sa kaniyang lamay at hindi nila maiwasan ang mapaluha dahil sa nangyari.Nakauwi na ang 6 na iba pang nasugatan sa insidente, puwera lang ang isa na nasa ICU pa.
