- As the coronavirus pandemic continues, government may have to abandon some big-ticket infrastructure projects to fund the state's COVID-19 response.

These include the rehabilitation of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3, construction of the North-South Commuter Railway system, and the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization project. Transportation Assistant Secretary Goddess Hope Libiran told CNN Philippines that the list is merely their"offer" but the final decision on the future of these projects will come from the DBM.
