Unlike the usual donations of food, clothing, and toiletries, a total of 2,700 pairs of shoes and slippers were recently donated to victims of the Taal Volcano eruption in Batangas.

Brgy. San Antonio, Pasig Chairman Raymond Lising in collaboration with Junior Chamber International distributes 2,700 pairs of shoes and slippers to Taal Volcano eruption victims.

The donations, he said in a statement Tuesday, were turned over to the Junior Chamber International Ortigas which then collaborated with the officials of Barangay San Antonio for the transportation and distribution of the aid. “Masayang-masaya ang mga residente. They are very thankful for the new shoes and slippers that we gave them. Sobrang nakakataba ng puso ang pasasalamat nila,” he added.
