The public shouldn’t lay all the blame on Health Secretary Francisco Duque III particularly relating to the ongoing health crisis, Senator Richard Gordon said on Tuesday.

The public shouldn’t lay all the blame on Health Secretary Francisco Duque III particularly relating to the ongoing health crisis, Senator Richard Gordon said on Tuesday. The lawmaker told CNN in an interview, if there is anybody to blame it’s “us.”

“Lahat tayo , we don’t follow the restrictions, we don’t follow distancing, we don’t follow masks, we don’t follow the washing of hands,” he said.Gordon maintained those who have been asking for Duque’s resignation simply have “axes to grind.” Although he believes Duque had shortcomings responding to the 2019 novel coronavirus disease , Gordon maintained, “you don’t change horses in the middle of the stream.”

“Kung inaakala ng mga tao, ng Presidente, [na] kailangan palitan… they better get [a] good one ,” he said.Gordon added “it might be the time to go already” if the Department of Health is no longer credible. On the other hand, the senator hopes the Senate hearings he sought concerning the country’s status, capability and plan to combat the COVID-19 pandemic will start this week.

Right, DickGordonDG. There are 100+M Filipinos vs the handful of people in DOH. Everyone should do their part to distance, wear masks and observe washing hands. You can do it, Philippines! 👍💗

Syempre kasama dyan ang AITF, tsaka yun poon nila.

DOCS dapat pangalan nyang DOH eh, Dept of Covid Statistics, taga labas nalang ba yan ng numbers ng cases?

Duque didn’t import COVID-19 but failed miserably to curb its spread – LacsonWhile Health Secretary Francisco Duque III did not import COVID-19 to the Philippines, he “miserably failed” to stop the spread of the virus, Senator Panfilo Lacson. | CMRamosINQ CMRamosINQ Duque also facilitated the entry of Covid by vacillating on the Chinese travel ban. CMRamosINQ We just can't say Duque miserably failed when INUTILDUTERTE keeps defending him. The reality is plainer than that. Im pretty sure Duque would have acted more a doctor if he isn't controlled by a China-PUPPET. CMRamosINQ Sen Lacson should not blame Sec Duque/DOH, IAFT is collective body more militaristic than medical oriented aggravated by the President and senators who discouraged instead of supporting our healthcare workers!rightthewrong
