Dominic Ochoa on new system of lock-in shoots: ‘We realized we don’t need so many people’

Instead of a theatrical release, the film will start streaming worldwide starting Dec. 11, due to the pandemic.

“Honestly, I like this new system because since plantsado na lahat, may script ka na, kailangang ready ka na. Sa pandemya, na-realize natin na parang it’s a reset button. So, na-realize natin na hindi naman pala natin kailangan ng napakaraming tao. Puwede naman pala nating gawin lahat na hindi masyadong maraming tao sa paligid,” Ochoa said in the online press conference yesterday, Nov. 29, for “Four Sisters Before The Wedding.

“Sa tagal ninyong pagsasama-sama at araw-araw ninyong pagsasama, ang hirap magba-bye sa kanila kasi siyempre napalapit ka na sa kanila,” he said.“Taas kamay ko lang sa ABS-CBN,” he said. Ochoa felt more than grateful for the network as it continuously makes an effort to produce more and new shows for its audiences.“Nabibigyan ng trabaho kahit wala tayo sa telebisyon, nakakahanap pa rin ng paraan para makapagbigay ng entertainment, aliw, inspiration sa mga manonood na tumayo, maging masaya at ‘wag isipin lahat ng problema natin,” he said.
