The Philippines has already administered more than 81 million vaccine shots against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) since the government’s vaccination program started last March.

The Philippines has already administered more than 81 million vaccine shots against the coronavirus disease since the government’s vaccination program started last March.

Of the figure, 35,557,409 Filipinos were already fully vaccinated, while 45,286,049 people have received their first doses. Also, 174,536 individuals got their booster shots, the data showed. “So, inaanyayahan namin kayo na please magpabakuna na kasama ang mga pamilya at katrabaho ninyo ,” said DOH Health Promotion Bureau Director Dr. Beverly Ho.

“Sa mga kababayan natin, gustung-gusto na po natin na magkaroon nang mas normal na Christmas these coming holidays, at iyon po ay magiging posible lang kung tayo—lahat ng kasamahan natin sa komunidad, mga kapitbahay, pamilya at mga katrabaho, lahat bakunado tayo ,” she said.
