For achieving its target, the city government can now allow 80-percent operating capacity for indoor businesses and 100-percent or full capacity for outdoors under Alert Level 2 quarantine status.

The San Juan City government on Monday, Dec. 6, received a certificate of recognition from the Department of Health for vaccinating 100 percent of its target eligible population against COVID-19.The award was given by DOH regional director Dra. Gloria Balboa.

A business with a Safety Seal from the Department of Interior and Local Government and the Department of Trade and Industry is qualified to have an additional 10-percent operating capacity. San Juan City was also cited for vaccinating non-residents through the JUAN VAX “Tulong ng San Juan sa Kapwa Pilipino” program.
