DFA: Number of COVID19 positive Filipinos abroad now at 2,523

MANILA-- One more overseas Filipino tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 , the Department of Foreign Affairs said.Three more Filipinos died of the illness, with the total deaths now at 294.

Meanwhile, the number of Filipino migrants who recovered from COVID-19 is up by 1 to 879, the DFA added.With only a few countries in Europe and the Middle East reporting on the status of our people abroad this weekend, the DFA today shares only one new COVID-19 case involving a Filipino national, one new recovery, and 3 new deaths. In the Philippines, COVID-19 has so far infected 14,035 people, of whom 868 died while 3,249 recovered.
