BREAKING: The Philippines files two diplomatic protests against China, including one for the illegal presence of the Chinese Coast Guard and their 'belligerent' actions against their Filipino counterpart in Bajo de Masinloc.

Philippine Coast Guard and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources conduct maritime exercises in Bajo de Masinloc and Pag-asa Island last April 25— The country has filed two diplomatic protests against China, including one for the illegal presence of the Chinese Coast Guard and their"belligerent" actions against their Filipino counterpart in Bajo de Masinloc, the Department of Foreign Affairs said on Monday.

The National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea on April 28 reported that three Chinese Coast Guard vessels continue their"illegal presence" in Bajo de Masinloc or the Panatag Shoal off Zambales, one in the municipality of Kalayaan in Palawan, and another one in Ayungin Shoal. A total of five Chinese Coast Guard ships remain in Philippine waters as of last week.

It said these illegal Chinese vessels are continuing their unauthorized activities in the West Philippine Sea, particularly in the areas around the Pag-asa Islands, Zamora Reef, Panata and Kota Islands, Ayungin Shoal, Quirino Atoll, and Bajo de Masinloc up until March 18. "China has no law enforcement rights in these areas," the statement said."The unauthorized and lingering presence of these vessels is a blatant infringement of Philippine sovereignty."

Since this is the Philippine Border territory and is DISPUTED, it is best to leave the resource as the Philippine's Foreign arm & focus on other more important areas (mainland). Other more similar resources like Spratlys are vast in the entire Archipelago and must be protected.

Aside from the fishes in the WPS, I think China is also capable of exhausting all our diplomatic protests that none will be left for other countries.

Just keep on protesting until they know that the Filipinos are not pushovers. Why don't they just concentrate on claiming Taiwan ang Hongkong? It's more logical.
