Sa ulat ni JP Soriano sa GMA News"24 Oras" nitong Biyernes, sinabing ang hakbang ng Kuwaiti government ay bunga ng paglabag umano ng Pilipinas sa kanilang kasunduan.

Dagdag pa ni De Vega,"Sa atin batas tungkol sa mga migrant workers, nakalagay doon kailangan may Filipino center or shelter para sa mga Pilipino." "Ipapaliwanag natin yan na what we want is something that benefits us both. Maintindihan dapat ng Kuwait na may dahilan kung bakit tayo mayroon ganitong mga patakaran," paliwanag niya.
