“The said policy does not and is not intended to unjustly discriminate against any DepEd employee who chooses not to be vaccinated,” the agency noted. “This has been one of the most effective anti-poverty measures of the DepEd. More poverty means a greater need for ALS,” the legislator said, adding this has to be DepEd’s “catch-up plan for learners left behind by the pandemic.”
