Arestado sa serye ng drug operations ng pulisya ang 15 tao na dawit sa iba't ibang operasyon ng droga sa Bacoor City, Cavite. Isa sa mga naaresto ang suspek na si Arlene Cerico, o kilala bilang "Madam Arlene" na supplier umano ng shabu sa Barangay Niog 3.
"Madam Arlene ang tawag sa [kaniya sa] area. Malakas magbenta ang babaeng ito," ani Bacoor City police chief Police Lt. Col. Vicente Cabatingan. Nakuha ang 12 sachet ng hinihinalang shabu kay Cerico, na hindi na itinanggi ang kaniyang pagbebenta ng droga. Aniya, labandera siya dati pero pinasok niya ang kalakaran ng shabu nang pumanaw ang kaniyang mister 3 taon na ang nakalilipas.
"Naglalabandera talaga ako. Nagawa ko lang 'yan dahil walang makain at nag-aaral ang aking mga anak," anang suspek.Kulong ang mga suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
