Šediva made this pitch during the successful conduct of the first Information Technology Conference dubbed “Czech Connect 2019: Bridging the Czech and Philippine IT Sector” in Makati City over the weekend.
With the aim of bridging the link between Prague and Manila, the conference brought five Czech companies namely Kentico Software, Y Soft, Avast Software by Kaizen Internetworking, Flowmon Networks, and Adastra Business Consulting where they presented their respective products and services to the Philippine IT sector in response to the growing demand for innovation and connection.
One of the guest speakers, Department of Information and Communications Technology Director of ICT Industry Development Bureau Emmy Lou Delfin, discussed the Philippine government plans for the local ICT sector. The program was followed by a panel discussion where the audience engaged the speakers in straightforward discussions on technology trends and innovations in both countries.
