The occupancy rate in wards and intensive care units dedicated to COVID-19 patients in Olongapo City has again reached 100 percent on Tuesday as virus-infected patients continue to swarm local hospitals.

Among the four hospitals, the St. Jude Medical Hospital is at a critical level since 91 percent of its 12 isolation beds had been occupied already.Only the Mother and Child General Hospital is still at a safe level, the same DOH data showed.

On Sept. 7, the ICU bed occupancy rate of the city also hit its maximum capacity, although beds became available in recent days.Subscribe to our daily newsletter
