THE Department of Health on Saturday, March 28, reported 272 new cases of the coronavirus disease to bring the country’s total to over 1,000.According to the latest Covid-19 case bulletin by the DOH, the total number of cases in the country is now at 1,075.First new fatality is PH382, who is a 63-year-old Filipino female from Quezon City with no travel history.

He expired on March 19 due to Community-acquired Pneumonia High Risk secondary to Congestive Heart Failure with comorbidities Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus. He was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on March 25.He expired on March 20 due to Acute Myocardial Infarction secondary to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome secondary to Community-acquired Pneumonia High Risk with comorbidities Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus. He was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on March 25.

Twelfth is PH277, who is a 72-year-old Filipino female from Bulacan with unknown travel and exposure history. She expired on March 22 due to Severe Acute Respiratory Distress secondary to Severe Pneumonia with comorbidities Hypertension, Hypothyroidism, Renal Disease. She was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on March 24.

First new recovery is PH163, who is a 55-year-old Filipino male from Quezon City with no travel history. She was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on March 9, and was discharged on March 26 after being asymptomatic with two negative results.
