Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Alliance (COBRA) said on Tuesday that a community-based rehab approach was a more effective solution to the country's drug problem.

Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Alliance said on Tuesday that a community-based rehab approach was a more effective solution to the country’s drug problem.“There was a correlation we saw in the decline of number of killings and the rise of community drug rehabilitation. We felt that our approach worked in those areas,” Sikini Labastilla, spokesman of COBRA was quoted in a report by ABS-CBN News.“The moment you take the breadwinner out of the family, the whole family suffers.

COBRA explained that their community-based rehab program was designed for four months to moderate heavy drug users, with a twice a week meeting.“Not just the police, health, and social workers.

Robredo met with the core members of COBRA, a group composed of faith-based organizations, members of the academe and civil society groups, which the vice president’s office has been a part of since 2016.
