Save the Children Philippines said that although the images posted are not sexual in nature and content, online predators can still use them for “untoward purposes.”

Recently, social media users have been posting photos of their children under the #dropyourbeautifuldaughter challenge hashtag. The said trend has already garnered up to half a million responses, the group said. The said figure is higher by 264.63 percent than the number of recorded reports the same time last year, that was at about 76,561, it added.
