CEBU City will revert to enhanced community quarantine while Talisay City in Cebu will be placed again under modified enhanced community quarantine from June 16 to June 30, 2020 because of a spike in new coronavirus cases and widespread community transmission of the coronavirus disease .
The President, however, said the new quarantine classifications could still be modified after he meets with the business community. Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., chief implementer of the National Task Force Against Covid-19, reported to President Duterte that his team observed an increase in severe cases of Covid-19 in Cebu City.
The ventilators are among the 55 machines donated by San Miguel Corporation president and CEO Ramon Ang. Galvez said Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III will also send a surveillance team to Cebu City on Wednesday, June 17.
